R.K. Devi Eye Research Institute was established in 1985 by Dr. Awadh Dubey a renowned ophthalmologist, with the aim of providing comprehensive quality eye care at the Primary, Secondary and Tertiary level. Dr. Dubey felt that the need of the hour was to provide a solution for the gap in the service delivery and that the service providers should work at the door steps of the villagers and since then R.K Devi Eye Research Institute under his able guidance is working on projects to REACH THE UNREACHED. R.K Devi Eye Research Institute is a charitable organisation (not for profit), it is exempted under Income Tax act 12 A & 80 G Registered with the Registrar of Societies of U.P. India.
R.K Devi Eye Research Institute since its inception has collaborated with many national and international organisations to undertake projects for alleviation of Blindness.
