  • Sight On Wheels An air conditioned mobile operation theatre was the first project of its kind in India. Over 5126 patients were operated and sight restoration was done through cataract removal and around 91076 patients were examined for refractive error and other eye related problems. Sight On wheels crossed borders and approximately 500 patients were operated in the hills of Nepal. Sight on wheels was invited at R.L Golchcha eye hospital at Nepal to conduct eye surgeries. Sight On Wheels brought laurels in the form of
    • SERVICE ABOVE SELF AWARD (most prestigious award) of Rotary International to Dr. Awadh Dubey
    • Rotary International Presidential Salute Award 1992-93.
    • Rotary International Presidential Citation1996-97.


  • Matching Grant of free eye cataract surgeries through Rotary Foundation: Two surgical matching grant was given through Rotary International and Rotary Dist 6560 Indiana USA as co sponsors . Through this project 2061 poor eye patients of cataract were operated. The task of 2061 surgeries was completed by conducting following activities


  • Support Vehicle: Mr. Dinker Joshi a Rotarian from Canada donated a 12 seated vehicle for the ease of patient transfer from rural areas to the base hospital for surgery and then back to their respective villages. O.P Diwedi a professor from Canada donated another vehicle through Lions Club which has been instrumental in patient transfer and conduction of awareness campaigns.
